Being in Idaho when you're not an outdoorsy kind of person can be hard. Winter feels long and drawn out for me because I don't do the outside activities that a lot of people enjoy here. Awhile back, I was brainstorming ideas for future sessions I wanted to photograph on a blustery winter day. I came up with the idea to do a cute and cozy couples session around a fire. Of course we had to have hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows too!
So, I talked to my sweet neighbors who had finished their backyard with a cool fire pit. I'm so glad that Melissa and Christian are our neighbors. They are so kind and fun AND our kids love to play together. We got together and spent some time just having fun with it and here are the results!
